Introduction
This statement sets out the steps that Ayora Technologies Limited has taken and is continuing to take to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking is not occurring within our business or supply chain.
Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking, and forced labour. We have a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery and we are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and relationships.
Our Business
We provide cloud-based revenue management software to the legal industry.
Our Supply Chains
Our supply chain includes technology sub-processors itemised in our security centre (ayora.ai/security) and leading professional services firms providing continued and ad-hoc legal, accounting and tax advice.
Due Diligence Processes
We undertake due diligence when considering taking on new suppliers, and regularly review our existing suppliers. Our due diligence includes:
• Evaluating the modern slavery and human trafficking risks of each new supplier
• Reviewing each supplier’s modern slavery and human trafficking risks at least annually
• Taking steps to improve substandard suppliers' practices
Risk Assessment
We have conducted a risk assessment of our business activities and supply chains, focusing on:
• Geographical risks
• Product/service risks
• Transaction risks
• Business partnership risks
Training
We provide training to all relevant employees to ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains. This training includes:
• Our business's purchasing practices
• How to identify the signs of slavery and human trafficking
• What initial steps should be taken if slavery or human trafficking is suspected
• How to escalate potential slavery or human trafficking issues
• What external help is available
